EVA is the work name for an Energy Collecting Application (Energie Verzamel Applicatie) which delivers the data required for billing of traction electricity consumption in the Netherlands to the EREX system of ERESS. This must be done in a manner that complies with the applicable EN standards, IRS 90930 and other relevant regulations. The starting point is that the chosen solution for the future will be appropriate (even if VIVENS no longer exists energy has to be settled) and meets the requirements of confidentiality, transparency and equal treatment of all carriers.
For this reason, the EVA application is managed ProRail.
